This year, 16,712 project applications were filed from all over Turkey for the 18th Secondary School Students Research Projects Contest organized by TÜBİTAK. Project applications are reviewed and evaluated by jurors, and as a result of the preliminary evaluation, a total of 1,219 projects in 10 fields qualify to participate in the regional contests.
Five of the project applications filed from Darüşşafaka Educational Institutions participated in the Istanbul European Side Regional Exhibition organized at Istanbul Technical University between 22nd and 25th of April, 2024.
Two of the exhibited projects were awarded first prize, and one was awarded second prize, and the first prize projects are going to represent Darüşşafaka in TÜBİTAK finals to be organized in Ankara in May.
