The YUPPI English Excellence Final Contest, designed to empower students with essential skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking in English, and to give them the experience of participating in an international contest, took place on June 1.
With more than 6,000 students from 300 schools participating, the journey to the finals commenced in February and April during the quarter and semi-finals, where students from Darüşşafaka showcased exceptional talent and earned their place in the final round.
In a remarkable display of skill, Asmin İdil Ş., a 9th grader, and Emir Kürşat B., an 11th grader from Darüşşafaka High School, achieved 1st place in their respective categories.
We proudly celebrate the Darüşşafaka students who achieved first place in the exam designed in alignment with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), reflecting the latest advancements in educational research.
