The students from Darüşşafaka High School achieved notable recognition at the innovative writing contest organized by the Light Millennium Organization, based in New York City, for the third time on March 22, World Water Day.
Nine high school students from Darüşşafaka participated in this innovative writing competition centered on the theme of “Water Action Plan”, aiming to enhance their writing and presenting skills in English while contributing to United Nations’ sustainability goals concerning “Clean Water and Sanitation” and “Life Below Water” through their proposed solutions and plans. Following a comprehensive evaluation, six students from Darüşşafaka were honored with the “J.U.C. Awards”.
On March 22, 2025, coinciding with World Water Day, an online ceremony was conducted in which students from Darüşşafaka were recognized for their outstanding achievements, receiving awards in various categories, including:
