Students from our 10th and 11th grades have achieved remarkable success at the Waterloo Mathematics Competitions, one of the world’s most prestigious academic events. Drawing tens of thousands of participants each year, the competition evaluates students’ analytical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical creativity.
Organized by the University of Waterloo, the 2026 Waterloo Cayley Contest for 10th graders and the Fermat Contest for 11th graders attracted global participation of 20,000 and about 19,000 students, respectively. Remarkably, 13 of our 15 participating 10th graders and all 14 of our 11th graders received the esteemed “Certificate of Distinction” at the Fermat Contest.
Additionally, seven of our 10th-grade students achieved a perfect score of 150 and received the Certificate of Distinction, an honor traditionally awarded to the top 25% of global performers.
