Our students have earned the opportunity to present their papers at the International Astronautical Congress (IAC), one of the world’s longest-established and most prestigious events in the fields of aviation and space sciences.
Two of our students were found qualified to present their papers at the International Astronautical Congress, renowned for its academic quality and for bringing together NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), leading space agencies from around the world, academic institutions, and industry representatives. Amine Ceyda Ç., with her paper titled “Solution to the Quantum Decoherence Problem Through Deep Space Thermodynamics: A Passive Cooling Architecture for Orbital Data Centers,” and Efe Aras A., with his paper titled “A Variable-Geometry Thruster Nozzle Design for Ion Propulsion Systems Inspired by the Squid Jet Propulsion Mechanism”, successfully passed the scientific review process of the evaluation committee.
This year’s 77th International Astronautical Congress received 8,330 paper abstract applications from 108 countries, marking the highest level of participation in the event’s history. The achievements of our students, who stand out with their original research studies focusing on the future of space technologies, are a powerful indicator of the importance Darüşşafaka attaches to scientific research, innovative thinking, and academic excellence at the international level.
