Our FTC team, DaçkaBots, proudly represented Türkiye on an international scale at the FTC Europe Premier Event tournament, held in the Netherlands.
105 teams from 33 countries around the world competed in the competition, which provided an important platform by bringing together middle and high school teams to engage in cultural interactions and share engineering knowledge and experiences
Throughout the tournament, our students not only showcased their achievements in robotics but also had the opportunity to exchange ideas with teams from different countries and establish international collaborations. This valuable experience contributed significantly to the development of our students’ technical knowledge and skills, as well as their communication, teamwork, and global perspectives.
Participating in the tournament provided our students with the opportunity to explore the scientific and cultural richness of the Netherlands. They visited the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) campus, where they closely viewed the university’s education, research, and technology ecosystem and participated in a range of activities. Through workshops organized at the University on “Artificial Intelligence” and “Ethical Values in Technology”, our students had the opportunity to see one of the world’s leading technical universities. They gained valuable experiences about university life with a particular focus on engineering and innovation.
As part of the tour, our students also visited the NEMO Science Museum, where they experienced science and technology through interactive activities and explored Amsterdam’s historic character, canals, and natural beauty.
During the tournament, our team gained unforgettable experiences not only in robotics but also in science, technology, and cultural interactions. Proud to have represented both our school and our country throughout the tournament, DaçkaBots aims to build on the knowledge and experiences gained from the event in preparation for the upcoming competition season.
