Celebrating Remarkable Success at the International Mathematics Competition, SASMO

The results of the Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO) have been officially announced. This competition is designed to provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate their mathematical abilities on an international platform while fostering creative mathematical thinking, rather than relying solely on rote learning.

Across the globe, 61,740 students from 52 countries participated in the competition, and 17 of our students secured awards for their exceptional accomplishments.

Our preparatory class student İsmail K. won a silver medal. In contrast, our 7th-grade student Hasan K., our 8th-grade students Rüzgar T., Ener M., and Cumali, and our preparatory class student İnci Naz A. won bronze medals.

Furthermore, our 7th-grade students, Aziz Yusuf A., Canberk C., Mustafa Sarp A., and Habibe Meryem H.; our 8th-grade students Ege Çınar Ç., Azra Zeynep Ş., and Muhammed Miraç Y.; our preparatory class students Arel Deniz G. and Fadıl Yaşar K.; and our 11th-grade students Ensar D. and İsmail Kerem K. received honorable mention awards.
