Our secondary school First Tech Challenge (FTC) team, DaçkaBots No. 25602, has launched a major project aligned with our mission of “Equality of Opportunity in Education.”
As part of its social responsibility efforts, our FTC team formed a First Lego League (FLL) Explore team at Hatemoğlu Primary School to introduce students to STEM fields, including science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Our FTC students served as mentors to the new team, leading regular sessions throughout the year, supporting them in problem-solving, teamwork, research, and design. This effort offered a meaningful opportunity for learning and growth for both our Darüşşafaka students and the FLL Explore team members.
After an academic year of dedicated effort, the DaçkaBots Jr. team wrapped up their season by showcasing their projects to reviewers and visitors at the FLL Explore Festival at Açı Schools on May 24.
Thanks to their creative efforts and compelling project presentations at the festival, the DaçkaBots Jr. team received the “Our Dreams and Ideas on the Poster” award, which highlighted their imagination, research, and successful implementation of their ideas.
Completed through the students’ perseverance, teamwork, and eagerness to learn, this project not only promoted “Equality of Opportunity in Education” but also served as a model for inspiring young minds in science and technology.
We commend the DaçkaBots Jr. team and our FTC DaçkaBots students who mentored them throughout the year, and we wish them ongoing success.
