Our digital platform Darüşşafaka Educational Institutions System (DEKSİS), which we began developing in 2015 to unite education at Darüşşafaka, our students’ development, and our school management processes under a holistic digital structure, has evolved into a comprehensive education and school management platform with approximately 3,000 active users today.
Through DEKSİS, we monitor and manage various aspects of school life within a common digital ecosystem, bringing students, parents, teachers, and staff together on a shared digital infrastructure.
DEKSİS includes numerous modules covering key areas of school life, from academic processes, student development, and counseling to communication and appointment scheduling, healthcare, dining services, the library, and security. Through these modules, we manage education- and school-related processes within an integrated structure.
In 2026, we are bringing DEKSİS to mobile to make it easier for our users to access the information and processes they need and to make DEKSİS a natural part of their daily lives.
With its visual character designed by our students and name chosen with their contributions, DEXI has become one of the most prominent features of DEKSİS Mobile as an AI-powered tool developed to support our students’ educational processes. Reflecting our students’ creativity, their relationship with technology, and Darüşşafaka’s approach to developing innovative solutions within its own educational ecosystem, DEXI stands out in our mobile application and, in this respect, carries an identity unique to Darüşşafaka.

We are taking the journey that began in 2015 with 15 modules to a new stage today, with a total of 61 modules, mobile technologies, and artificial intelligence. With DEKSİS Mobile and DEXI, we continue to carry the digital transformation of our educational ecosystem into the future.
DEKSİS’ Development Journey: From 2015 Until Today
We laid the foundations of DEKSİS in 2015 to manage academic processes digitally, initially designing the platform with 15 modules. Starting with user experience, we gradually developed DEKSİS and made it available to our 5th-grade teachers in 2017. As we continued development in line with feedback from teachers and students, we expanded its use to our entire school in 2018, with 21 modules.
In response to its expanding use and evolving needs, we launched DEKSİS 2.0 in 2024, strengthening the platform’s technological infrastructure. As of 2025, we transformed DEKSİS from a system used solely to track academic processes into an integrated digital platform that encompasses our students’ social-emotional development, culture, daily life processes, and school management.
