The results of the 2026 i-MAT Project Competition, organized by the Mathematics Education Cooperative with the participation of high school students at both national and international levels, have now been announced.
The competition finals, held in Ankara on April 4, aimed to inspire high school students to think creatively and analytically in mathematics and algorithms, encouraging them to develop original projects and produce scientific solutions.

Our prep-class students, Hüsna K. and Mert Sabri C., not only finished among the top 10 finalist projects across Türkiye applications but also received the prestigious 3rd place award for their project titled “FINDING THE SUM OF THE SIZES OF ALL SUBSETS OR SUBSETS WITH A SPECIFIC NUMBER OF ELEMENTS OF A FINITE SET.”
Focusing on the theme of “Mathematics and Algorithms,” the competition showcased projects in computer science and mathematics, including real-world problems, mathematical modeling, and alternative approaches to proving theorems using algorithms. Our students, who earned 3rd place, celebrated their success with a commemorative plaque.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our students, who have filled our community with immense pride, and to their dedicated advisor for their guiding expertise.
