{"id":29066,"date":"2026-09-16T14:21:32","date_gmt":"2026-09-16T11:21:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/?p=29066"},"modified":"2026-10-01T14:23:08","modified_gmt":"2026-10-01T11:23:08","slug":"our-digital-platform-deksis-uniting-the-education-ecosystem-becomes-an-ai-powered-mobile-application","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/en\/our-digital-platform-deksis-uniting-the-education-ecosystem-becomes-an-ai-powered-mobile-application\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Digital Platform DEKS\u0130S, Uniting the Education Ecosystem, Becomes an AI-Powered Mobile Application"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our digital platform Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka Educational Institutions System (DEKS\u0130S), which we began developing in 2015 to unite education at Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka, our students\u2019 development, and our school management processes under a holistic digital structure, has evolved into a comprehensive education and school management platform with approximately 3,000 active users today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through DEKS\u0130S, we monitor and manage various aspects of school life within a common digital ecosystem, bringing students, parents, teachers, and staff together on a shared digital infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DEKS\u0130S includes numerous modules covering key areas of school life, from academic processes, student development, and counseling to communication and appointment scheduling, healthcare, dining services, the library, and security. Through these modules, we manage education- and school-related processes within an integrated structure.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/deksis.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-29067\" style=\"object-fit:cover;width:600px;height:400px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/deksis.png 960w, https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/deksis-450x253.png 450w, https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/deksis-768x432.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2026, we are bringing DEKS\u0130S to mobile to make it easier for our users to access the information and processes they need and to make DEKS\u0130S a natural part of their daily lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With its visual character designed by our students and name chosen with their contributions, DEXI has become one of the most prominent features of DEKS\u0130S Mobile as an AI-powered tool developed to support our students\u2019 educational processes. Reflecting our students\u2019 creativity, their relationship with technology, and Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka\u2019s approach to developing innovative solutions within its own educational ecosystem, DEXI stands out in our mobile application and, in this respect, carries an identity unique to Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our efforts towards improving DEKS\u0130S-which arose from the needs of our institution and all intellectual property rights of which are owned by Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka Educational Institutions,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are taking the journey that began in 2015 with 15 modules to a new stage today, with a total of 61 modules, mobile technologies, and artificial intelligence. With DEKS\u0130S Mobile and DEXI, we continue to carry the digital transformation of our educational ecosystem into the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DEKS\u0130S\u2019 Development Journey: From 2015 Until Today<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We laid the foundations of DEKS\u0130S in 2015 to manage academic processes digitally, initially designing the platform with 15 modules. Starting with user experience, we gradually developed DEKS\u0130S and made it available to our 5th-grade teachers in 2017. As we continued development in line with feedback from teachers and students, we expanded its use to our entire school in 2018, with 21 modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In response to its expanding use and evolving needs, we launched DEKS\u0130S 2.0 in 2024, strengthening the platform\u2019s technological infrastructure. As of 2025, we transformed DEKS\u0130S from a system used solely to track academic processes into an integrated digital platform that encompasses our students\u2019 social-emotional development,
