This competition is designed to provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate their mathematical abilities on an international platform while fostering creative mathematical thinking, rather than relying solely on rote learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Across the globe, 61,740 students from 52 countries participated in the competition, and 17 of our students secured awards for their exceptional accomplishments.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"502\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/content-medium-0c0f232a1fe47ebfa7f61fabbc67ac1c.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28260\" style=\"width:600px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/content-medium-0c0f232a1fe47ebfa7f61fabbc67ac1c.jpeg 800w, https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/content-medium-0c0f232a1fe47ebfa7f61fabbc67ac1c-450x282.jpeg 450w, https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/content-medium-0c0f232a1fe47ebfa7f61fabbc67ac1c-768x482.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our preparatory class student \u0130smail K. won a silver medal. In contrast, our 7th-grade student Hasan K., our 8th-grade students R\u00fczgar T., Ener M., and Cumali, and our preparatory class student \u0130nci Naz A. won bronze medals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, our 7th-grade students, Aziz Yusuf A., Canberk C., Mustafa Sarp A., and Habibe Meryem H.; our 8th-grade students Ege \u00c7\u0131nar \u00c7., Azra Zeynep \u015e., and Muhammed Mira\u00e7 Y.; our preparatory class students Arel Deniz G. and Fad\u0131l Ya\u015far K.; and our 11th-grade students Ensar D. and \u0130smail Kerem K. received honorable mention awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We congratulate all our successful students and their advisor-teachers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The results of the Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO) have been officially announced.
