Recently, we hosted our second in-person meeting with 6th<\/sup> and 7th<\/sup>-grade students under the “Distance Education Program for the Earthquake Region”<\/em>, which was launched in the wake of the devastating earthquakes on February 6, 2023, and has been successfully operating for three years to provide high-quality education to students in all 11 affected provinces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following last year\u2019s visits to our students in \u015eanl\u0131urfa, Gaziantep, and Ad\u0131yaman, this year\u2019s gatherings took place on May 15\u201316-17 in Osmaniye, Adana, and Hatay.<\/p>\n\n\n

These visits, attended by our R&D project coordinators Sibel Sunay and Gamze Havva Kuma\u015f, as well as our dedicated teachers Ay\u00e7a Meng\u00fc\u00e7 and Feyza \u00c7apa, who offer online English lessons to remote students, proved to be an unforgettable experience for both students and educators. These meetings turned a long-standing online education process into meaningful, heartfelt connections.<\/p>\n\n\n

During the visits, our educators dedicated quality time to the students and their families, engaging in friendly conversations and giving books to the children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
