{"id":25493,"date":"2025-11-10T08:04:00","date_gmt":"2025-11-10T05:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/?p=25493"},"modified":"2025-12-10T10:08:26","modified_gmt":"2025-12-10T07:08:26","slug":"dackabots-ftc-team-achieved-remarkable-accomplishments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/en\/dackabots-ftc-team-achieved-remarkable-accomplishments\/","title":{"rendered":"Da\u00e7kaBots FTC Team Achieved Remarkable Accomplishments"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Dat\u00e7aBots, our school team representing the FTC (FIRST\u00ae Tech Challenge*), achieved remarkable success in both national and international arenas during the 2025-26 season.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, the Da\u00e7kaBots participated in tournaments organized by the Fikret Y\u00fcksel Foundation, named in honor of its founder and esteemed alumnus, Fikret Y\u00fcksel. During these competitions, the team accomplished significant milestones, including receiving the \u201cSustain Award\u201d in the first tournament, securing the highly esteemed \u201cInspire Award 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;place\u201d in the second tournament, and earning the \u201cWinner Award\u201d for finishing the robot matches in the first place during the competition hosted by Piri Reis University from November 1 to 8. Notably, on November 8, the team set a world record based on their performance in the final matches. As a result of these accomplishments, the Da\u00e7kaBots have qualified to compete in the T\u00fcrkiye Tournament scheduled for December 13 to 14.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"503\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/content-medium-b786e30648dc0a5bd0570694293f6398-4.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25504\" style=\"width:640px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/content-medium-b786e30648dc0a5bd0570694293f6398-4.jpeg 800w, https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/content-medium-b786e30648dc0a5bd0570694293f6398-4-450x283.jpeg 450w, https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/content-medium-b786e30648dc0a5bd0570694293f6398-4-768x483.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the tournament, our students delivered presentations during judge sessions, showcasing their initiatives in social responsibility and STEAM education with a well-organized approach, earning them commendations from the judges, who appreciated their embodiment of the Da\u00e7ka spirit and professionalism in their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Da\u00e7kaBots, guided by their dedicated young mentors Ya\u011f\u0131z, Mustafa, Bar\u0131\u015f, Muhsin, Aynur, and M. Arif, received invaluable support from their primary mentors Tuba Demir, Umutcan Ay, M. Akif Tobcil, and M\u00fcge Tuvay throughout the entire process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The students had the opportunity to enhance their technical abilities while embodying important values such as teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership. Their disciplined, creative, and responsible approach not only made their mentors proud but also positioned Da\u00e7kaBots as more than just a robotics team at the tournament; they emerged as a vibrant youth community that exemplifies the Da\u00e7ka spirit and their innovative and socially sensitive merits. This achievement represents a significant advancement for our students, enabling them to pursue their interests in STEM with greater self-confidence and serving as an inspiration to their peers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to our students Saniye G., Orkun \u0130., Aylin S., Sena G., Beyza V., Deniz M., Eymen A., M. Aytu\u011f, Hasan T., Turgut T., and Beren B., members of the Da\u00e7kaBots Team, for their exemplary performance.
