{"id":24258,"date":"2025-06-10T09:58:13","date_gmt":"2025-06-10T06:58:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/?p=24258"},"modified":"2025-06-27T11:28:17","modified_gmt":"2025-06-27T08:28:17","slug":"a-heart-to-heart-gathering-with-the-students-from-the-earthquake-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/en\/a-heart-to-heart-gathering-with-the-students-from-the-earthquake-region\/","title":{"rendered":"A Heart-to-Heart Gathering with the Students from the Earthquake Region"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the inspiring \u201cEducation Program for Distance Education of Students in the Earthquake-Stricken Regions,\u201d supported by Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka and running for two years, as was initiated with 5th&nbsp; and 6th graders, the first face-to-face gathering took place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bringing to life the commitment of Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka\u2019s dedicated volunteers\u2014Gamze Havva Kuma\u015f, Sibel Sunay, Meryem \u00c7\u00f6rd\u00fck Uzun, and Necati Karag\u00f6l- these passionate educators visited the cities of Ad\u0131yaman, Gaziantep, and \u015eanl\u0131urfa from May 23-25, 2025, creating unforgettable experiences for both students and teachers. After a long period of online learning, education efforts blossomed into meaningful and powerful connections through this personal interaction.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"617\" height=\"580\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image-11.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24093\" style=\"width:640px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image-11.png 617w, https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image-11-450x423.png 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 617px) 100vw, 617px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"619\" height=\"514\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image-13.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24097\" style=\"width:640px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image-13.png 619w, https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image-13-450x374.png 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 619px) 100vw, 619px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visits, \u201cMotion at School,\u201d and \u201cIntroduction Activities\u201d organized by Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka in each city provided students with a valuable opportunity to connect with their teachers and peers in the same program. The relationships that began during online education blossomed into deeper, more meaningful connections through face-to-face gatherings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Feedback from parents and students not only touched the hearts of Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka teachers but also inspired them. Witnessing the positive impact of online education on students&#8217; academic growth filled teachers with joy, as the project fulfilled its purpose.
