{"id":21495,"date":"2024-10-23T08:14:36","date_gmt":"2024-10-23T05:14:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/?p=21495"},"modified":"2024-10-23T08:15:46","modified_gmt":"2024-10-23T05:15:46","slug":"darussafaka-students-have-achieved-success-in-their-completion-of-the-erasmus-sports-program-4me4all-project-a-european-union-initiative","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dek.k12.tr\/en\/darussafaka-students-have-achieved-success-in-their-completion-of-the-erasmus-sports-program-4me4all-project-a-european-union-initiative\/","title":{"rendered":"Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka Students Have Achieved Success in Their Completion of the Erasmus+ Sports Program 4me4all Project, a European Union initiative"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ten students from Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka High School, across 9<sup>th<\/sup> and 10<sup>th<\/sup> grades, have demonstrated remarkable achievement in the 4me4all project, an initiative funded by the European Union project, designed to enhance the social and emotional welfare of youth and encourage their engagement in sports through the establishment of a social support model facilitated by seasoned professional athletes who act as mentors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On January 13<sup>th<\/sup>, the students were invited to attend the International Basketforall Final Conference at the Olympic House Conference Hall of the Turkish National Olympic Committee. The conference included an exchange of information involving the participation of sports clubs BK Klatovy from Czechia and SCS from Bulgaria with a primary focus on exploring the use of basketball as a means of social empowerment for disadvantaged youth and on discussing strategies for increasing the capacity of underprivileged young people in basketball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On February 7<sup>th<\/sup>, students from Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka convened online for an introductory and project planning session with the project mentors, focusing on introducing mentors and students, proposed topics, objectives, and anticipated activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On March 16<sup>th<\/sup>, students from Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka, who participated in the project, took part in the \u201cCultural Heritage as a Source of Development of Future Competence in Youth\u201d event at the Youth Re-Autonomy Foundation of T\u00fcrkiye. They conducted workshops focusing on the contributions of cultural heritage to the future in this program that was attended by participants from Estonia, Poland, Italy, and T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On April 29<sup>th<\/sup>, as part of the project, students and mentors participated in a planned \u2018Going to a Match\u2019 activity by attending the Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka Lassa-Anadolu Efes basketball match. After an announcement by Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fafaka athletes, the students were able to enter the match and had the opportunity to meet the referees. Subsequently, a workshop was conducted at the sports hall after the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon completion of the project, the students were presented with their certificates during a ceremony held at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall. Prior to the ceremony, they had the opportunity to interview Dr. Serhan Antalyal\u0131, the General Secretary of the Basketball Federation, at the Basketball Federation to discuss the project processes and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We extend our sincere congratulations to Serra Ceyda D., Emircan G., \u00d6yk\u00fc G\u00fcne\u015f A., Alime Fat\u0131ma T., Merva G\u00fcne\u015f A., Sadettin G\u00f6ktu\u011f K., Nehir Selvi Can E., Ahmet Baki M., Azime S., Doruk \u00d6., for their participation in the project, as well as their instructor, Mehmet
